OLIO 2011

All Oils that reached the final evaluation of the International Olive Oil Award - Zurich, took automatically part in a consumer test (blind test) on the occasion of the Gourmesse Zurich (www.gourmesse.ch) - a Swiss "gourmet-fair" from October 07 until October 10, 2011. The aim was to denominate the consumers favourite oils. The most appreciated oils receive the award "Olio 2011".  

Results are available on this website and as well in the magazine "Salz & Pfeffer". publication (in German)

Besides this consumer test, all registered and as "extra virgin" confirmed olive oils - already tested from an objective point of view by the Swiss Olive Oil Panel in spring 2011 (see: "10th International Olive Oil Award - Zurich 2011) - were presented branded in an open tasting at the Olive Oil Bar.
